@birdtails: Yesterday while joring with Flint he was attacked by an off lead German Shepherd, I immediately tackled the dog and began to ch*ke it until it backed off. Flint suffered puncture wounds on the neck and ear which required glue to close, he is on medication and I still have no idea how this will affect him. Hes been such a good angel baby through everything, even after the attack he remained obedient and layed down when I asked so I couldn’t assess his injuries. After determining that he did have puncture wounds I got the owners info and took him to the vet where he was treated, this was an ON LEASH CHILDRENS PARK where there are signs everywhere stating dogs need to be leashed. I know if not for me jumping in immediately Flint would have had severe injuries as this dog went for his throat, thankfully his harness that covered his entire back and his wide collar took most of the damage. I had to get a tetanus shot as my hand was also bleeding, and I’m banged up but both of us are ok.
