The first 2 years after my divorce I was completely lost every other weekend. I would go shopping constantly because I couldn’t stand to be home without my girls. Lots of debt from those days lol

As a single mom of 4- exactly. I want my girls all the time and never turn that away- but having a couple days while they are with their dad- I use that time to rejuvenate, do whatever- self growth.

We have a Blended family of 6 kids. Just a natural consequence of divorce & blended family. How you respond will affect how the kids respond, so be careful your response doesn’t transfer to them.

When I divorced, we shared custody 50/50; a week on a week off…The transfer day, and beyond, were horrifying. Now, they’re all grown. It’s still a trigger, when my youngest stays at her sister’s.
