I think “phones are bad” is a weak argument, tbh. For many kids, social media has been a source of community, representation, & self-esteem. Access to ++ information has cons, but lots of pros. (1)

I’m 96 - I very much had a play, outside childhood, we had 1 family computer up til around 2008. IG didn’t really become popular until I was in HS. I think 96/97 is more complex and a hybrid
