I didn’t see it at first… not really. maybe I was too caught up in my own world, my own habits, my own pride. I thought I was doing enough, that I was enough. but looking back, I can finally admit something I never had the courage to say before: I have a lot of traits that make it hard to be truly loved. I’ve been selfish when I should’ve listened, distant when I should’ve leaned in, defensive when I should’ve been vulnerable. and I see now how much that pushed her away and now I think it’s too late… the only woman that made me realize I need to change. I hope she can give me this last chance this time. If not, just have to accept it.
