I had them as an adult for eight years and had a jaw reconstruction. Don’t let them talk you in to the surgery part. Still can’t feel the lower half of my face.

I had adult braces, and braces have come a long way since we were kids. Yes, it still hurts when your teeth move, but your teeth are hurting you now and it would solve the problem.

Oh my 18 yr old son has had braces for years among other therapies trying to correct an overbite. They’re suggesting surgery at this point. Like BREAKING HIS JAW and resetting. 😩

Invisalign at night worn consistently does work. Our daughter had 2 phases of ortho. Her ortho on phase 2 didn’t think Invisalign would work at all. Well it did and he was happy it worked.

I had braces too and even wore my retainer. My teeth are worse now than before braces. My teeth were pretty straight when I got braces. My bottom teeth have shifted so much that they are crooked. 😭

There is a way to do that without braces, see a dentist and get a recommendation. My father, was and he measured that.
