The average nursery day in 2023 was £55.39 even at £60 a day every day for 52 weeks is £15600 whilst still extortionate and doesn’t account for holidays 33k is just not a true representation

For nursery’s here in Scotland you do have private if people wanna pay for that, but here there is so many hours that children get free in nursery can’t remeber what it is but yea..

My childcare fees would equate to around 17k a year. Remember that 33k is probably multiple children and in an area such as London - which is absolutely extortionate.
