@yungblud: my new song “breakdown.” is out now. this is the first verse. 🖤🖤🖤 it’s so bizarre how other versions of yourself exists in other peoples minds and imagination. some may see you as kind, some as cold. some may see you as shy, some may see you as confident. some may love you. some may hate you. the truth is the way that people see you is often an illusion constructed out of something within their own imagination reflecting back on itself - their own energy, fear, insecurities, love, excitement - a convenient distraction not having to deal with their own pain or fear of the unknown. all these factors often get in the way of seeing what is real and what is true. this used to overwhelm me so much, it made me reclusive. i didn’t want to leave my bed out of hearing someone’s opinion of me and seeing that person one day. i realised the way someone else views you is completely out of your control all you can do is work hard on the way that you view yourself. the world is scary and weird but remember you are an individual. there is never the same person twice. you got this.
