Mid 80’s till recent yrs,compassion was not a thing- it was punishment-the weird/ wild child/outlast, going nowhere who needs discipline. Huge fan of social media educating & invisible hugs to us

Involve a professional bc OCD is a common with ADHDers and you can accidentally close harmful loops with accommodations. Learning this the hard way now.

there is the hyper side to adhd that everyone goes on about but is there a down/slow side ie..no motivation etc aswell and what are the symptoms for that..? any insight is much appreciated

figure out triggers and use distraction to simulate the mind some sort off claiming activities i do arts and crafts or i play on roblox with him

My son has adhd, and he is so well behaved and happy and always done this. Even when I have to be more strict due to environment I will show understanding and help him!

if you think it parent them that way. learn everything go on courses it really really . parenting isn't the same for sen children. it makes a HUGE difference

My intuition also told me at that age to get rid of all of my social media bc it was such a toxic environment so I did & I’ve never regretted doing that for myself back then :)
