You have to qualify for a loan of that amount, you have to live in that property for one year before you rent it out and you still have to make the payments.

Bought my first home in 2018 for $293k with $0 down using VA home loan. Sold it in 2022 for $575k then moved back near my family and paid cash for a nice brick ranch. I have no mortgage now.

the e-5 rank insignia shown is and air force rank insignia not Navy. The VA loan guarantees that they will pay up to a certain amount of the loan if the loan is defaulted on
