@artistsarahmckendry: A Little Bit About me…. I am a completely self taught artist who first picked up a paintbrush just over 15 years ago. Before taking the leap into being a full time painter I used to work as a custom home builder with my dad (framing and concrete work), dabbled in professional modeling, and then decided that driving the largest haul truck in the world would be a fun adventure. I was teaching myself how to paint at night after work, but eventually I was able to leave my job and focus on my art full time. Two months after taking the leap into becoming a professional artist we welcomed the first of our two amazing little boys into the world, and I have been pouring my soul onto canvas while also being a stay at home mom ever since. My favourite colour in the world is a deep earthy green. My favorite sound in the world is when my boys are laughing uncontrollably. My favorite food in the world are potatoes. I never could have imagined that having a souldeep desire to translate the world around me into brushstrokes on canvas would lead me here to this point, but I am so deeply grateful that it has. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for every kind word, every share, and every single way that you choose to support this big, beautiful dream of mine.
