20 yrs of hormonal BC….decided I didn’t want that anymore. Went cold turkey. Took around 15 months to actually feel normal. Insane mood swings and my acne was out of control. Went to a derm for that.

For real! I lost someone a few months before, then i went off of it, there was such a difference and i went through the grieving process for a second time and so much more intensely. Its crazy how numbing it is and how there is WITHDRAWALS and it makes you feel fkn crazy

I stopped bc after being on it for 10 years and I started losing lots of hair + crazy mood swings. They don’t tell you any of this when go on them & they prescribe it for everything.
