worked with him briefly at hmas penguin, also was the surface support swimmer for a dive team at that exact location for ships divers, only difference was we did it at night.

So sorry this happened. Thought popped in my head. All surfers/swimmers should have a tourniquet attached to them just in case. They or someone else can use it when needed.
