Growing up in LA, Universal Studios Hollywood was part of my childhood… pero girl, I had no idea how much it’s changed. 😅 I hadn’t been back since before Jason was born, so on our trip this October 2025, I was SO excited to take the kids and finally do all the rides and shows I’ve been dreaming about. Pero aquí entre mamis… one day in October is NOT enough. 👀 Universal closes around 6 p.m. because the park transforms into Horror Nights at night, and even the days they don’t list Horror Nights can change last-minute…which is exactly what happened to us. 😭 So: shorter hours, some shows not running, areas blocked off for mazes, and one of the rides I was dying to try (Fast & Furious!) doesn’t even open until next year. And the kicker? You still pay full general-admission price. If you’re planning a day visit in October, heads up mami, you might not get the full Universal Studios experience. But still… walking through the park again after all these years brought back so many memories. Even when we’d get the old Costco passes (buy one day, get the whole year free!) we’d end up hanging out at CityWalk instead of going inside. Now I’m like… why didn’t I go more?! 🥺💜 Next time: two days mínimo. Porque this LA mami wants ALL the rides. 🎢✨ @Universal Studios Hollywood
