Baker here. WHAT AN HONOR! NTA!! The kids can buy their mom's cake whenever they miss both parents. I wish I could do that for my grandparents recipes, especially being tested to still taste like it.

It’s also probably not a secret recipe. I was sworn by my mom’s sis to secrecy w/ grandma’s cake recipe. Later my mom asked me for it, then mentioned it was from a 1950s magazine lol
