Crispy Black Rice Bites w/ Lions Mane 🍙 I had this lion’s mane mushroom sitting in the fridge like “don’t forget about me, mane.” If you don’t understand the “mane” reference then, boooo tomato tomatooooo! Here’s what I did: – Cooked some forbidden black rice – Mixed in sesame oil, rice vinegar, a pinch of sugar & salt – Pressed it in a pan and popped it in the freezer till it firmed up – Cut into squares and air-fried till crispy For the lion’s mane: – Broke up 1 head of lion’s mane – Pan-seared with seasonings (to your liking) – Tossed it in a sauce made of tamari, maple syrup, chili oil, garlic powder, and a splash of sesame oil Then I stacked it up: crispy rice → cucumber → lion’s mane → jalapeño → avocado → furikake on top ✨ 10/10 recommend using sushi rice if your dental work is expensive like mine 😅 but either way, these HIT. • • • • • #blackvegan #veganfoodlovers #vegansushi #crispyrice #lionsmane #appetizerideas #veganrecipeshare
