@featlorenzo: So another successful month of flying the line! Very grateful to be a lineholder with my ultimate juniority (aka non-senior). I decided to work through the father’s day weekend and go pick up a trip out of SFO from another pilot who wanted to drop his trip. Having never been to Taiwan yet, I was having some initial culture shock (especially having only experienced Japan and South Korea) but I enjoyed the experience immensely. Commuting for such a long trip is worth it, however I don’t see myself willingly taking a 6 hour flight to work a short trip lol. I hope this gives you all some perspective on what it’s like to be junior and young at a global airline as a widebody first officer!
