Is a big hutch is ok if they are only in there for a few hours a day I have too many wires in my home to not know where my bun is so she sleeps in a hutch but it’s large and she’s out most of the day?

I use to have a bunny and he lived outside in a hutch and I use to let him out at 7am-7pm in the backyard and lock him up during the night for his safety. so he got good excerice everyday.is thatfine?
