My grandparents would put on midnight feasts for us. They’d put us to bed, then wake us up and bring us downstairs. It was dark. Only the fire and candles with fish fingers and ketchup. Pure magic ✨

We do one week a year called “fun week”. I put a several fun activities in a jar and my son gets to pick one each day. They are usually things he wouldn’t get to do normally. Then we make a scrap book

My mum put flakes of food colouring in the bottom of a glass and poured us Lemonade and it would turn a different colour and it was called "fairy juice". Never knew how she did it til my twenties 😅
