This hit so hard. If knowing at a younger age I had ADHD how life could have been better. Getting a diagnosis at 44 (2023) I am still trying to establish myself as me. it's life altering!

Emotional Solutions :
My emotional dysregulation means I am underwhelmed by them. Shame, anxiety and sadness are words that I see others experience in very different ways to me, and for me that's 'normal'.

One of the reasons my diagnosis was so late, is because my family don’t beleive in it! I literally just posted about my diagnosis online and my mum said it will go if I cut out sugar

Same!! When a friend kept saying rhey used to be like that b4 meds & I found out they had ADHD. I went dwn the rabbit hole. Diagnosis, mourning period then embraced it 😁🙃
