I think people forget just how many people visit each day, Juneau has an average of 5-7 ships at any given day.

I was on a cruise in Juneau last year and there were 5 ships in town. I would support a reduction. I even talked to locals about how many tourists there were each ship holds the population of town!

Amazing I was just there…and most people are so grateful for the tourism as everyone spends so much money…. And the travel rests in the winter soooo they get a break… so I was told by locals!

I live in a tourist town and I honestly don't mind it. I've grown up around it. They bring in money we need. The majority come from overseas to hike our trails and climb our mountains.
