Motherhood isn’t just the toys scattered across the floor or the piles of laundry I’m forever folding 😳 It’s so much bigger than the to-do list. it’s a legacy. David didn’t pray for more stuff or an easier life. He prayed for a blessing on his house that would last for generations. That’s the prayer I want to pray over my kids too—not just for today’s lesson time to go smoothly (although that would be nice 😅), but for their future hearts… for the homes they’ll one day build… even for their kids I haven’t met yet. We’re nurturing little souls, not just little bodies. We get to make our homes a place where God’s presence feels welcome. The prayers we whisper today can echo long after we’re gone. So here’s my reminder to myself—and to you if you need it: don’t get stuck just managing the moment. Speak God’s Word over your kids. Pray blessing over the walls of your home. Here’s the prayer I’m holding onto: “Lord, bless this house of Your servant, that it may continue before You forever.
