I learned recently that a lot of poor people will keep extra antibiotics so they have some on hand for their next infection. I wonder if making antibiotics free would help combat this.

How do you feel about the UK’s version where they guess which bacteria it’s most likely to be, and if that fails once and sometimes even twice with another guess.. they will then test the bacteria

See the issue is sometimes you go to the doctor with an actual infection and they won’t prescribe them. But there are people who will get them without prescription or elsewhere.
