I’m a clinical psych PhD in our “fellowship” year decorating my own office. I suggest: rug to take up a lot of visual space & dampen sound; candle warmer for mild scents w/o flame; 🟪

DEFINITELY needs the "Hang in There!" cat poster. also, your therapy chair must be closer to the door than client. clock over client's head so no looking at watch.
