@screenwritinginla: It’s been about 5 years since Once Upon A Time In Hollywood was released. I recently watched for the millionth time (it was still amazing) and have really been thinking about how this movie is such a reflection of Tarantino’s perspective of Hollywood and Los Angeles. And is almost like a perfect representation of everything he loves about Cinema. No wonder he always says that he feels like Once In Hollywood is his true epic film and his “last” film will be more of an epilogue to his career. Anyway, I think he’s right about getting people to have a different kind of appreciation for Sharon Tate. I know that’s how I feel. I always heard about the Manson family, but it took Once In Hollywood for me to really delve into it. And after seeing the movie, I think it gave me a different understanding of the whole thing. By the way, if you haven’t read “Chaos” by Tom O’neill yet… Check it out. It’s insane. He made her real, the snoring while she slept, and the love she had for her family, those little things get over looked.

This is so true. Gave her so much life. I researched her and grieved what could have been. Loved the movie and what he gave her back. Great movie.

I love the way he describes how he thinks about this and has told the story, and her story, and the way he appreciates her. It shows that he is caring and has a big heart ❤️

It’s worth reading “cinema speculation” he had exactly the childhood you’d expect. 70s exploitation way too young

I'll say I really love m night's and Tarantino's endings the most. Most of the films they've done have very subversive endings and I'm always waiting for it

I like to imagine that Inglourious Basterds and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood are alternate timelines chugging alongside our own

I truly believe once upon a time in Hollywood is the best movie Quentin has ever done. I had to watch it 3 times to realise this
