Literally protects your eyes, keeps them from drying out. A lot of people’s eyes will kind of hang out half open.

I had knee surgery and when I woke up I couldn't see. I freaked out. They out goop in my eyes so they wouldn't dry out. I'm glad they didn't do the tape.

Yes when I had shoulder surgery had the same but my eyelid swelled so bad could barely see. Hope for a smooth recovery

I did know that! But I'm an anesthesiologist! 😂🤣 Skin there is very thin and sensitive, really doesn't take much to rip it off!

I had surgery done on May 17 of this year and I did not know that they tape your eyelid shit but that is probably why my eyes hurt a little after. Good to know for the future.

Yep! And they pushed so hard they broke all the blood vessels in my eye and the white was all red for 2 weeks

I once woke up with a busted lip 💀 bleeding & bruised. My guess is something to do with the tube removal
