@newenglandnaturals: Beaver skulls are great props when teaching wildlife biology. The adaptations to live in aquatic habitats are clearly displayed through skull morphology, and not to mention those teeth are wicked cool! The trapping community has a long history of providing educational materials for natural resource courses and we’d like to continue that tradition by giving one of our sustainably harvested beaver skulls away to a worthy teacher. Comment below what you teach (or tag your favorite wildlife teacher) and your favorite wildlife fact. Whoever has the best answer will be adding this skull to their classroom! #education #trapping #fur #beaver #biology #wildlifebiology #newenglandnaturals

I am teaching at a forest school for 2-5th grade and my favorite wildlife fact would probably be that woodpeckers tongue wrap around their brain for protection

Do you tried to eliminate all the beavers in a pond or just trap a few because I’ve seen people on TikTok saying this pond and Fested we got to get rid of all of them beavers in the ecosystem

I teach here in New Zealand. I teach 9-10 year olds and teach my class all subjects. My fact is that a Reindeer eye balls turn blue in winter to help them see in lower light conditions. 🦌
