It was cancelled because of the IT outage which was WORLDWIDE barely any flights went out of Gatwick on Friday, for example it took 3 hours to board 1 flight it usually takes 30 minutes-1hour tops

that's why I don't book package holidays. I book everything myself, if the flight gets cancelled I rebook on the next available flight and get my refund plus compo for the cancelled flight.

I'm cabin crew and we had a flight delayed. Pax and crew on aircraft. I had to canx my plans for the evening. Pax had a delay but were still going on hols. I had a Pax shout at me (1)
