My ACE is the same way! They act like when you walk in, they MUST walk around with you and pick the items for you. I don’t go unless I need a specific item.

Meh, you’re NTA but personally you’re not doing a service to yourself/your project or the person you’re on the phone with by taking a call in the store. I have seen so many people on a call at a cashier and be so dehumanizing. Like the world around them doesn’t exist because you’re on a call.
