@sunxueling: I opened a gift a resident gave to me last night at MPS. And it brought tears to my eyes. Their child Anas (pic on the right) has left them due to illness. He has been sick ever since he was born and I have seen him year after year. He was a happy boy and used to run around my MPS session a lot. I remember him fondly. The family has been through a lot since his passing. The parents grieved tremendously and their livelihoods were hit. We helped them as much as possible with financial assistance. The family recently welcomed the arrival of baby Iman. I met baby Iman for the second time last night. The family is moving out of Punggol to stay with their in-laws and came to say their goodbyes. Our good wishes will be with them wherever they go. I have a tremendous regret. I didn’t know Anas had a dying wish to sit in a race car. And we fell short by a few days to fulfil his wish. I hope that wherever he is now, that he is whizzing around in a land of beauty and grace, away from sickness and pain.
