Try attaching either a few balloons to the top instead of just one, or some flowers would be really pretty! Maybe add some fairy lights.

A clear strand of LED lights going up the stand might look more elegant. maybe. or possibly shorten the pole. also the clear balloons with confetti might look cute on top. just trying to help. :)
