Can be simple fix cam shaft or crank shaft vvt solenoid or ignition coils never asume engine can’t be fixed

What if grey smoke pops out ONLY when accelerating above 2.5k RPM? It runs normal as long as I don’t drive maniacally. It’s been 5 months driving like this. Multiple oil changes all clean

Mine does like tick or not even near a knock I can’t explain it but I have 2005 v4 Toyota Camry le and drive 85-90 regularly and it’s still going great
