*SPOILER AND FLASH WARNINGS*!! I initially just wanted to draw parallels between Sukuna and Gojo because their dynamic fascinates me, and I’ve been reading A LOT about them just to make this edit. But toward the end, I felt the need to slip Megumi in, and I realized how incredibly interesting the parallel is between him and both Gojo and Sukuna. Let’s unpack (also, what I’m covering in this caption is like 5% of everything that could be said). The beginning of the edit felt accurate because ever since Yuji ate that finger, Gojo knew there was a chance Sukuna could come back—at least to me—even if that wasn’t the plan. What’s interesting is that Gojo never actually met Sukuna or experienced anything about him firsthand—hence the idea of “chasing a ghost,” because that’s how it feels if you think of Sukuna as an entity throughout most of the story. I’ve always loved the dynamic between Gojo and Sukuna. Of course, they represent the pinnacle of their own categories: Sukuna is a curse with a human within (since he was once human), and Gojo is a human with a curse within (his role). I read a great analysis on Tumblr (credit: not-delicious-milk) that pointed out how Sukuna actually works well in a team, while Gojo tends to work alone. It’s kind of a paradox if you think about Sukuna being the “evil” one. And it’s true—Gojo has his students, but he often acts solo. I think part of that is his instinct to protect them, but it’s also that he genuinely believes he can succeed without help. That idea made me think about Megumi in relation to both of them. Gojo never truly bonded with Megumi; he encouraged him because he saw potential, but he focused on what Megumi lacked and pushed him to improve. Sukuna, on the other hand, meets Megumi once and immediately sees his strength—and he knows he’s going to exploit that. On one hand, we have Sukuna who openly admits he’s fascinated by Megumi. On the other, we have Gojo, who focuses on Megumi’s flaws, trying to help him grow—but even so, it’s Megumi’s soul that protects Gojo as much as it can during the Shinjuku battle. What’s always blown my mind is Gojo literally shaping the weapon of his own death, without even realizing it, all stemming from his love. That brings me to the second thing I wanted to say. If you’re used to reading my rambles, you already know how much I value the role love plays in Gojo’s life and decisions. I’ve always said that he craves love—because he lost the one person who truly loved him and never moved on. And because of the way he coped and how others perceived him, he was left yearning for love. Meanwhile, Sukuna—who couldn’t care less about love or being loved—still has Yorozu, who’s desperate to teach him what love is. Of course, her obsession is unhealthy, but the theme is still there. This also ties into the whole satisfaction theme: Gojo could only have found true satisfaction if Geto had been by his side. Sukuna, who never needed anyone to feel satisfied, still had more people fighting with him than Gojo (of course Gojo has the students, but they fight after him as a backup plan). As for the last part of the edit: •	“I would never ever lie to you” — I interpreted as Gojo saying to Megumi “I would never hurt you” during the whole battle. •	“You ain’t ever gotta lie to me” — Sukuna to Megumi. I used the scene where Yuji dies because Sukuna immediately figures out Megumi’s plan. •	“I’m everything that I’ve strived to be” — Sukuna with Mahoraga. It’s very possible I’ll disappear for a week or so, so I wanted to leave you with something cooler than usual! This has been possible thanks to whoever animated the manga otherwise it would’ve dropped in 2035. These are all different clips, but credits: AmJason & LuciferDevV on yt. #ryomensukuna #satorugojo #megumifushiguro #jjk #jjkedit #jjkmanga #jjkmangaspoilers #jjkanime #jujutsukaisen #jujutsukaisenedit #animeedit #fyp #foryou #likehim #viral #viral_video #foryou #xybzca #xyzabc #xycba
