Even better, do the exact same thing immediately after you finish training. A great way I’ve found that is super easy to do, is mix maltodextrin with my protein shake or with fruit juice. By learning about the glycemic index value of our carbohydrates it lets us eat accordingly so we can better manage our energy in a deficit. To make sure you have a good steady source of energy for other parts of the day.
