@cargobikemomma: Nantes was an awesome city to spend time in. Their tourism department - @levoyageanantes - is probably one of the best l've seen. The city passes were comprehensive and easy to use and their friendly staff made booking and scheduling everything super easy. Here is a list of what we did: day 1: Castle of Dukes of Brittany- easily could spend 2 hours or more. Quick bite to each and then jumped a tram to #lesmachinesntes #carousel and the machine demonstrations- these were amazing. The elephant was incredible. Day 2: Biked with #bike43 to the botanical gardens to see the art installations and the giant pots - an Alice in wonderland type playground. Biked to the city center for lunch at chezmamannantes Then biked trentmoult to see the colorful buildings. Jumped on the ferry to the Jules Verne museum. This was a great kid-friendly stop. After, everyone was zonked so we went back to our hotel. There is so much more we could have done but with 3 little kids in tow, it can be challenging So glad we had a chance to stop in Nantes and can't wait to come back! #france #travelwithkids #familyvacation
