It will definitely be humid! Midwest states during August are no joke. Highly recommend bringing some sort of hand fan and water bottle if they allow it too

I go to hinterland every year! Your fits are perfect but I will warn you to expect maximum humidity. Also, there’s virtually no shade unless you arrive early enough to get a spot under the big tree

Definitely sneakers > boots. Small pack of tissues and hand sanitizer is a must! Bathrooms are super unreliable.

i’ve been to many many music festivals – highly recommend wearing sneakers and if it’s a grassy festival wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty!

Iowan here, from Des Moines. It will be humid so stay hydrated, also it cools down at night but not too cold. Your clothing choices are good for an Iowa summer.

last year was SUUUPER muddy so as much as i love a long white skirt it might not be the best option (i don’t think we will have rain but you never know with iowa weather)
