I never had my hysterectomy done this way. I was cut open. left my ovaries and took everything else.

I had mine done robotically. 5 small incisions in my lower stomach. Minimal pain after. Honestly, recovering from the anesthesia was way worse than the surgery. So glad I had this done. I feel better.

My Dr wanted to take everything, including the cervix. I said I wanted the cervix to stay, he refused me as a patient when I wouldn't change my mind. That was over 20yrs, I still have everything 😭

I had a partial hysterectomy and they wouldn’t remove my cervix idk why but they left me with cervix and ovaries just removed my uterus and tubes which idk why they didn’t remove my cervix

Mine was done with C section. Was like a any other surgery. Pain was worst living with uterus. Had no problems after surgery and still think best thing ever to remove it. Had good doctors.
