My dad is a narcissist and he did this to me growing up. I never understood why. He wouldn’t walk far ahead but just enough that had me struggling to keep up- in malls, the store, etc.

This makes so much sense. I once dropped my purse in a store and everything fell out of it. He walked ahead and refused to help me while someone else's husband stopped and helped. 😌
