I used to do foundations for several mobile home companies, Clayton included, they are somewhat right. If the house and foundation are cracking it's due to movement from your property eroding.

I almost bought a Clayton home but they kept playing games with me. I put down my deposit and then it was issue after issue. I finally asked for my deposit back and it look weeks to get that back.

Girl we bought one in 2015 & our home is two inches higher on one side! We couldn’t lay our hardwood floor all the way throughout our living room & kitchen then put a spacer to lay it! I feel you!
