Desire paths! A very interesting thing where people and animals create a natural path in defiance of any purpose made one. Normally a shortcut or a more enjoyable route.

it's one of the things I loved about Death Stranding &, a few years later when I came back to the game, was something I didn't like anymore. The wilderness was carved with dirt walkways everywhere. 😔
