As a NICU nurse, we do vigorously rub them so they cry, thus pinking up. No one likes a blue baby. It looks aggressive to bystanders but a blue baby is much worse. Believe me… Also love you guys 🫶🏼

I had to do this to a kitten recently born 😅 I broke the sac open suctioned and rubbed the $hit out of her. I’m a certificate midwife now haaahha.
