i think it helped me that i went into s1 with no expectations. i was able to just absorb and not worry about what i thought it would be. and i enjoyed it. now i’m hyped for s2 lol

My favorite thing while season 1 was coming out was all the live streams fans were doing after each episode came out and enjoying all the lore and Tolkien languages being put on screen!

Rewatching S1 in preparation for S2. I liked it the first time but my excitement was initially soured by the online negativity. This time, I am enjoying it even more and looking forward to S2.

First time through I was like, what the bugger is going on with galadriels story , after the reveal at the end it was OH CRAP. Rewatching it is a whole different experience. I am however really sad
