me and my friend group have a rule. if your excited for a game and no one else is you can buy it for everyone. we've all done it multiple times and so far worked out for the best.

Yep. My mate nagged at me to rebuy dead island for ps4 after loving it on the ps3, we played it one night for about an hour 3 years ago and he’s hardly been on since 😭

Depends on the situation, but I’ll usually justify it because a $60 game is the same price as going out for drinks or something, and it lasts longer if I end up liking it.

i once told a friend to download a demo. he bought the whole game, played it for 4 hours, then said he didn't like it and couldn't return it to steam by then 😭
