my mom is habitually late to everything even important stuff so we eventually started telling her that everything was an hour before so she'd be on time so I completely understand OP it sucks so bad

We would always tell my aunt that Thanksgiving/Christmas started 3 hours before it did because she was Always at least 3 hours late. 😂😂

This was my aunt in childhood. Eventually people started telling her different start times and she caught on. She was so embarrassed the behavior actually stopped. Now she’s chronically early
