I have a 100 watt usb c to usb c cable with a display on the cable to show the watts being used but have never found a charger to plug it into that goes higher than 40

That’s what’s so funny about the whole “hur dur Apple only just went to usb-c” thing. Lightning was a more stable standard in place earlier b/c usb-c was taking too long to finalise.

Buying USB-C cables is so much fun when you need 3.2 gen 2 but get USB 2.0 or 3.0 🙂 Would be fun if manufacturers labeled the supported speeds 🫠

USB comes in different speeds. the slow ones are just USB. Then 2.0 then 3.0. 3.0 is the fastest one at the moment.

My beef is that so many devices don’t give clear specs on their requirements - they’ll say they use 9v-3a and won’t say if they are PD or QC compatible and so even if your charger supports the v/a it
