We listen we don’t judge: here’s my rant of the day ! 😭😫 I been trying to get my baby in school since the end of June. I been getting spinned around calling all these places that never answer and showing up to all these places that give out misinformation! My baby got all her necessary vaccines it’s just in Maryland form so they need it transferred to a Georgia form but on top of that an Ears, Eye, Dental and BMI screening (which I personally feel is a money grab because why would that hinder kids from starting school when they can get parents to sign waivers and do it at the school if anything but whatever I don’t make the rules I just abide by them) but the health department taking so little people at this time when they know people just trying to get their babies in school is absurd! I was there at 8am and they turned everybody that didn’t need or just want the screening away and told them try again tomorrow maybe get there at 7am or earlier when they don’t open until 8:30am and no food or drink is permitted Idk why the security got called on me I wasn’t even going off fr… i was visibly agitated but all I did was ask for a supervisor 🤷🏽‍♀️ but they do say Baltimore gives off this certain energy when they’re mad that others can just feel so maybe it’s that idk but at least we never gotta get the screening done again or if we ever do I know for next time I ended up just submitting the information online through Cobb county and whenever they call for me to pick up the transfer document I’ll deal with it then but I’m done stressing over it all! 💯 Rant over !!! I did alot of research before and after the move but it happened so fast that I obviously didn’t do enough 🙄 so parents PLEASE do a more thorough research than me before relocating with children to a new city and if you plan on relocating to Georgia with your kids feel free to reach out to me and I’ll let you know all of the obstacles to avoid… what worked and didn’t for me and all 🫶🏽 Stay blessed yall ✨
