My last name is a very common everyday word. For a long time I could not open SM accounts because it said it was a fake name🤷♀️

The way to verify if someone is real is you require a 0.50 charge on a credit card, the name and address on the credit card has to match the name and address on the account, and it cannot match any other accounts in the system. Once the charge goes thru you donate it to charity or reverse it. Microsoft did this back in the day of “free premium email” accounts.

I don't understand the logic behind that. I got a pretty common name. I don't really use a picture I don't like my picture. I don't interact a lot because I'm an introvert. I get called a bot.
