On the plus side, I often find these guys, plus the Rufus and Grey Fantails, to be super curious and friendly so that it’s not too hard to get a nice close shot.

I grew up on a farm in tassie and they were everywhere. I might be mistaken but I think that was a lovely lady wren, or a juvenile lad. The males are that spectacular electric blue 💙💙

I love these 😍 my sis had a big pile of sticks at her places for a bonfire and the wrens turned it into a paradise and were nesting all through it. The whole thing got taken out in the bushfires 😭

we have sommany of them at Albion Park waterfall there so friendly and beautiful sitting at the waterfall it's amazing when the little flock comes by

Piwakawaka?! I've heard they follow you to steal your soul... While living in NZ I had a quite a few of them follow me regularly on hikes. They left my dark soul alone though 😂
