Carlos Marriaga :
I think people misunderstand the difference between an easement and owing the property. in most homes there is a utility easement which means the cable, light, gas, telephone have certain rights

Utility easements have specific usage allowances, they are rarely for public passage, we have one's in back yards that doesn't allow public passage

25 ft of the lane nearest. Duh, 8 lane rd would have utilities in 6th lane

lanes are about 10 ft wide each which would leave 5 ft from white line into the grass! Highlighter man's math isn't matching!

Notice how there is an incomplete sidewalk going toward them. That sidewalk leads to the public easement on the grass.

That is a 5 lane road, each lane 10-12 feet wide 🤔 his math isn't matching. There would be a 10-20 foot right of way past the road edge. 50 foot is for a 2 lane road

They called a road crew guy out which I'm sure is related to the cops somehow but he is talking about easement of roadway for construction of roads & not easement of county property

ok, i am only telling y’all this because i love and trust y’all. remember that. normally, i am pretty ok with all the music i loved at one time or another. but then there are the songs that make me wonder “what the hell was i going through!?” and the universe usually gives me an answer or at least extends me some grace to provide myself. in the summer of 1999, i was at a crossroads. i quit my gig as a dancer and pissed away my only shot at having the song of the pop duo i was in released. i was working at a café near upenn and feeling completely lost about what to do next. i didn’t want to go back to the HIV non-profit world i walked away from a year earlier to pursue dancing full time but dancing was no longer feeding my spirit. so i ran away to lakeland, florida to spend the summer with my mom and aunt janet. because this was pre-social media and the internet was still a thing only some people had at home, i spent that summer reading books, walking to the mega walmart or riding around with aunt janet to buy more books. on one of those faithful trips, we were listening to the radio when “this time around” by michael fredo began to play. i legit was like “PUT THIS UP!” why? because i was a huge backstreet boys fan (judge your mom) and this song sounded like their songs - albeit a much cheaper and crappier song but still similar. the next day, janet drove me to the record store to purchase the CD single. imagine my surprise when i saw that michael fredo was signed to quincy jones’ record label. i didn’t expect the singer to white-white. don’t ask me why. i already told y’all i was going through it. i was preparing for Y2K. released in the summer of 1999, during the height of the pop/boy band mania, “this time around” only managed to chart on the single sales chart (thanks to corny bitches like me) where it peaked at #21. i don’t remember watching the music on TRL because it wouldn’t be until the advent of youtube that i even knew that a video was commissioned. probably for the best because that may have prevented me from buying the single. wait, is that a good thing? eh, the world is ending. #louiesmixtape #musichistory #90smusic #storytelling
