we got a lot of Horse shoes and nails... from barbwire fences... when you see blue ... this was 1980 we cut 400 logs per day...

I used to buy old saw blades from mills in Pennsylvania they finally invested in a couple high dollar metal detector type equipment I don’t get the blades much anymore

I wonder if you could use a metal detector to scan logs just to check if there is any metal inside? that way you can try to avoid it.
