I'm from the middle of nowhere Louisiana and grew up living in one of those fancy 1970s single wide trailer.... that was not only a blackout curtain but also low budget windows insulation lmao

My fiancé did this to our bedroom window because it stayed hot even with the ac on. If u put the shiny side facing out the sun reflects off of it and it helps cool. 😎

My mother did that when we were children kind of made me feel like we were in prison, not being able to see out the windows we would scratch little holes in the foil to be able to look out🤣

I just use foam white poster boards they wedge In well easy to remove and reuse and looks clean from the outside not like I’m breaking bad. My bedroom has white then black and I’m a third shifter

no sir it's not a pot room. Just looks that way from outside. 😂😂😂😂 I know people who did this in the late 90s for that reason.
